I don't think that many will not come. And having visited really big BarCamps (600+ in Riga, Latvia) and smaller ones (50 or less), I prefer the big ones. If the location is right the people will anyhow split up a bit and so you just have lots and lots of small camps inside the big one. it still is open and you can switch somewhere else... Besides, if the camp is big, there are more people for tiny niche topics, so everybody gets even more of what they want...

Personally, I also think that the event has become much too big (although, it's clear that many of those registered will not appear).

You need a mixxt account in general.


2) Sign in with your mixxt Account, http://www.mixxt.org/, then point your browser to our network, http://barcampberlin3.mixxt.org/ , somewhere on the right you'll find a button join that network (or something like this)

Once you've successfully joined our network you can sign up for the events you want to attend.

3) Point your browser to http://barcampberlin3.mixxt.org/networks/events/index then select the events. As a visitor from abroad you can attend our international guests list, http://barcampberlin3.mixxt.org/networks/events/show_event.1755 , the welcome party http://barcampberlin3.mixxt.org/networks/events/show_event.1727 and our saturday night event http://barcampberlin3.mixxt.org/networks/events/show_event.1728 . For each event you've to select your status of attendance from the upper right corner.
